Research —
My prior research focused primarily on malaria vaccine development and the molecular mechanisms of Plasmodium infection. My current research pivots towards molecular virology and innate immunity. I am particularly interested in how PARP family enzymes, known as ADP-ribosyltransferases (ARTs), drive or regulate the antiviral immune responses following viral infection.
