NSF Grant Awarded

Joanna Slusky (associate professor) received an NSF Molecular Foundations of Biotechnology award titled “Data-Adaptive and Metamorphosis Machine Learning Architectures for Generative Protein Design of Metal Biosensors”. In this three-year, $1.5 million award Dr. Slusky’s lab will work with collaborators at the University of Haifa in Israel, and develop fundamentally novel approaches in chemistry to drive new directions in biotechnology.
