On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Department of Molecular Biosciences celebrated their graduates at the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony.

This University event celebrates the graduate students who completed a doctoral degree. In order to graduate, all of these students made substantive and original contributions that advanced the state of knowledge in their academic fields. These students have mastered the cutting edge of research and pushed past it, marshaling evidence to create new knowledge. This Lawrence campus event celebrates graduating doctoral candidates come from the schools of Architecture and Design, Business, Education and Human Sciences, Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communications, Music, Social Welfare and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
