2026 Newmark Award
This year, the four finalists selected for the Newmark Award competition were:
- Zahraa Al-Tamini (Hageman Lab, KU Phamaceutical Chemistry Department)
- Emily Daniel (Roelofs Lab, KUMC Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
- Harsha Hapugaswatta (Mizuki Azuma Lab, KU Department of Molecular Biosciences)
- Anubhuti Srivastava (Whelan lab, KU Department of Chemistry)
The four finalists each gave a research a seminar on April 20, 2026, to select the recipient of the award. Congratulation to Anubhuti Srivastava who was selected as the recipient of the 2026 Newmark Award!
