2025 Newmark Award
This year, the four finalists selected for the Newmark Award competition were:
- Vivien Csikos (Wilkins & Thyfault Lab, KUMC Department of Neurology and Cell Biology and Physiology)
- Lina Nerio (Smith Lab, KU Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology)
- Shwetha Sreenivasan (Swint-Kruse Lab, KUMC Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
- Spencer Thompson (Freudenthal lab, KUMC Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
The four finalists each gave a research a seminar on March 31, 2025, to select the recipient of the award. Congratulation to Spencer Thompson who was selected as the recipient of the 2025 Newmark Award!
