NSF Grant Awarded
Ilya Vakser (professor) received a 3-year $1M award from the National Science Foundation entitled UKRI/BBSRC - NSF/BIO: Modeling of protein interactions to predict phenotypic effects of genetic mutations. This project will apply computational techniques to develop a public resource that will incorporate structural modeling of proteins, and protein assemblies, and assess the functional impact of amino acid variants. This research project is a collaboration with researchers at Imperial College London.
