Research —
My previous research has focused on immune diseases and cancer, specifically exploring novel anti-cancer approaches by regulating cancer cell metabolism and intracellular pH. At KU, my primary research involves the mRNA binding protein HuR. The inhibition of HuR has shown potential in restraining tumor growth. Currently, I am investigating how the mechanisms of HuR inhibitors induced tumor suppression are connected to the tumor microenvironment, tumor metabolism, and the immune response.
