Kristina Robson received her Ph.D. in the Molecular Biosciences department at KU in 2002, where her graduate work focused on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)-like autoimmunity under the mentorship of Dr. Dean Stetler. After KU, Dr. Robson began her professional career at Amgen, first leading a group developing and validating methods to support GMP manufacturing activities. Subsequently, she held a lead position within Molecular Sciences at Amgen, whose mission was to develop, identify and implement successful biomarker and companion diagnostic strategies. Dr. Robson moved to BioStorage Technologies as the Scientific Director of BioPharma Services for EMD Millipore’s Discovery & Development Solutions organization. Dr. Robson is currently the Senior Director of Comprehensive Solutions at BioStorage Technologies and in this role she manages global policies and procedures for sample management operations and oversees strategic sample management service partnerships. In addition, Dr. Robson is responsible for developing process efficiencies for the optimization of sample assets to support research and development and she also helps establish the department’s overall vision, drive improvement initiatives and monitor effective performance metrics.
